Our Meal Program

The Community Meal Program is the heart of The Gathering’s mission—where neighbors are welcomed, nourished, and cared for. Each week, we prepare and serve 14 free, home-cooked meals across multiple Milwaukee locations.

Every meal is cooked fresh on-site, and our work is powered by an incredible community of 1,500–2,000 volunteers each year who provide 98% of our direct service support.

At The Gathering, everyone is welcome. We serve all guests with dignity, without regard to race, religion or belief, national origin, gender, age, ability, or sexual orientation.
